Our Birthday present to Lino: a new look for LinoRulli.net

Today Lino celebrates his last birthday in his 30s... and to commemorate this auspicious occasion, we at LinoRulli.net decided to give ourselves a bit of a makeover!

What's new and improved:
  • We've expanded the width of the site from two columns to three to take better advantage of browser space and to keep important things like podcasts closer to the top.
  • We've brightened things up a bit so that the site doesn't look quite as dark and sinister as it used to.
  • We're sporting a "Countdown to 40" counter at the top of the page... nice and big so that you can't miss it even if you tried. Lino only has a year left until he turns 40, so now's the perfect time to start counting down!
We still have a good bit of tweaking to do to things like spacing, font sizes and colors, etc... but since the site was inching towards its second birthday without a major refresh, we felt that this was the perfect time to unveil it. In the longer term we plan to move the site from Blogger to a customized host using Wordpress to give us more flexibility with some new features and design ideas that we want to implement, but until we're ready to make it happen this update will keep things fresh for the time being. Now if only we had time to actually post stuff...

LinoTracker™, ready for duty!

UPDATE 10/23 @ 10:00am ET: No exploding fireballs today... Lino has safely arrived in Rome, and no flight attendants went rogue before the plane parked at the gate. Don't believe us? Lino already posted it on Facebook. This is LinoTracker™, over and out.

LinoRulli.net and our proud sponsors (of which there are none) are pleased to bring you once again: LinoTracker™, Lino's flight track information for you enjoyment and entertainment. Unlike the last trip to Italy where a whole bunch of TCGS pilgrims were on board, this time we have no qualms telling you that with LinoTracker™ you can pinpoint the exact moment when Lino's plane explodes in an enormous fireball.

So without further ado, here is Lino's flight tracking information. And the flight's already been delayed by 25 minutes. Bon Voyage!

CatholicGuyShow.com: Where Lino Rulli Gus Lloyd is #1!

What more can we say? It's pure genius. Mosey on over to CatholicGuyShow.com and read all the cool stuff about The Catholic Channel's morning man and his awesome show, Seize The Day. It'd be even cooler if they kept the site that way the whole week Lino's in Italy... but that's probably asking for a bit too much. :)

Oh, and check back with us later this evening... the LinoTracker™ will be back online! Lino's flight takes off at 9:45pm ET, and we'll tweet y'all (twitter.com/LinoRulliDotNet) when it's ready to go so that you can get another chance to tell your kin what you were doing at the exact moment that Lino's plane exploded in an enormous fireball.
