The following clip is from this morning's broadcast of Seize The Day. Gus was taking calls on what people say for their Act of Contrition during confession (be it the traditional text, something spontaneous, etc.). Robert calls in and right off the bat offers us this…
I wonder if a vaccine for this particular virus is in developMINT yet…

Let your voice be heard
As Americans we have an obligation to let our government officials know how we feel since as members of a Republic they make decisions for this country. As Gus would say, Amen and Amen! Please send your thoughts in to HHS and let them know what you think about this proposed change. If you prefer for some reason not to send your thoughts via e-mail, you can mail them (and you have to mail them in triplicate) to the following address:
With the election of President Obama the life issues now land squarely on our shoulders to bear since the Democratic Party does not hold this issue at the same level of importance as we do.
Gus Lloyd has the following message posted on his web site:
Make Your Voice Heard! The Obama administration wants to rescind the Provider Conscience Clause, which allows medical professionals to refuse to participate in procedures that go against their conscience. This evil must be stopped! President Obama and his Culture of Death-ites will stop at nothing to further their agenda. Please send an email today to proposedrescission@hhs.gov and let the administration know that you do not want the Conscience Clause rescinded. Please forward a link to all people of good will and ask them to write. And before you hit “send,” send up a prayer that the Obama Death Train can be stopped before doing any further damage.
So please join him and write to the Health & Human Services Department and let your voice be heard.
Office of Public Health and ScienceAnd if you really have nothing better to do, you can read the actual text of the proposed recission here.

Lino in my own backyard
Over the past few weeks Lino has occasionally mentioned on the show that he'll be attending the Eucharistic Congress in the Archdiocese of Atlanta (my home diocese) this coming June. But now thanks to Greg Willits announcing it on The Catholics Next Door this morning, I can confirm that he'll actually be one of the speakers at the Congress! The Archdiocese hasn't published the detailed track schedule yet, but check back on their web site to learn more about the Congress and exactly when he'll be appearing!
UPDATE: The schedule's been posted; Lino will be among the speakers in the General Track on Saturday, June 13th between 11:00am and 4:00pm. Other notable speakers during that track include the Willits from The Catholics Next Door, as well as John Cardinal Foley, who Lino interviewed during one of his Rome broadcasts.
Where was God…
…when Jared was turned loose on the sound effects machine yesterday?? Someone should've asked that on No Dumb Questions!
